Sheri Harder - President
I was born and raised in Whittier, California. I met my husband, Duane, on the softball field in 1984 and married in 1986. I still reside in Whittier with my daughter, Amber Rojas 35, her husband Jeffrey Rojas 35, my grandson Kobalt 5 and my other grandson Slate soon to be 3 in September. My son Dale 34 lives nearby in Brea. In the early 90’s I met the Leffingwell family and they introduced me to the love of horses, dogs, and camping all in one, aka Field Trials. We attended the fall and then the spring CBC field trials and any specialty event like shows, Willi Match, and we came to know the CBC family very well. It was not until 2005 when our family was gifted our very first Brittany pup, Redline’s Smokin Gun, aka Colt. We soon realized brittanys are like potato chips you can not just have one. Redline’s Smokin Pepper Jack, aka Colbie came into our lives in the summer of 2006. In spring of 2007 Colt became a field champion thanks to Paul and Peggy Doiron. That summer I also was nominated and voted in as President of CBC to start in January of 2008. In spring of 2008 Colt became a dual Champion. His first breeding that summer gave us Redline’s Smokin Son Of A Gun, aka Magnum. Needless to say our family was into brittanys hook, line and sinker.
I have been teaching middle school 6th and 7th grade science for the last 23 year. When I am not teaching, or playing with my brittanys I can be found on the golf course, the basketball court, or in the pool. I love riding my horses and my electric bike. I enjoy spending time with family and friends.
I served 6 years as president and then continued to serve on the board till July of 2020. When I was again nominated and elected President. I am very proud to be serving the CBC family as president or board member all these years. Please reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions.
From couch to walk in the park, show to field, a game of ball, no matter how big or small our brittanys can dual it all.
